Being a mother is likely one of the hardest jobs on Earth—no pay, no vacation, coupled with the incessant worry, stress, and fatigue. That’s why many mothers could relate to the wacky worn-out “exhausted mom” costume of this 7-year-old kid when it was shared on Facebook by a family friend. Do you think this is the most realistic Halloween costume ever?

While many people opt for the goblin or vampire costumes for Halloween, Lainie Griffin, 7, wanted a different look. Apparently taking inspiration from her mother, Jess Griffin the second-grader from Indiana was dressed up as a tired mom carrying a baby doll in her hand.

The little girl was sporting a pink sweatshirt stained with milk on the shoulder and matching sweatpants. With her untidy hair tossed back into a ponytail, she was wearing flip-flops and had a baby clinging to her foot.

She even had dark circles drawn under her eyes, not to mention an incredible “I am tired” expression!

It was little Lainie who came up with the amusing details, such as the baby around her leg, as Griffin, a mother of five, always has one child sitting on her foot when she’s doing something.

Griffin helped draw the dark circles under her eyes and put a milk stain on her shirt.

“I thought this would be a funny way to represent parents, who have all had those sleepless nights and spit-up,” Griffin told ABC News

Griffin said Lainie, who is the quietest of her five young children, has earned herself the nickname “Little Mamma” in their family.

“She … loves to help and loves babies and animals and is very motherly,” said Griffin.

In awe of Lainie’s costume, a family friend, Rachael Fansler Beachy, then posted the funny photo of Lainie wearing the most realistic Halloween costume, on Facebook.

“I’m dead! This is the best costume I’ve ever seen!” Beachy wrote.

Instantly, Lainie soared to internet stardom after this hilarious photo was posted. Her photo has garnered more than 198,000 reactions and has been shared over 18,500 times.

“Yes this is how I feel every day!” one Facebook user wrote.

“I can relate right down to the other kid hanging off her leg. Brilliant,” another commented.

Griffin was not surprised that the photo went viral and thought that every parent can relate to the familiar elements of Lainie’s costume.

“So many of us have been too tired to bend over to tie a pair of tennis shoes or put on some socks so we just slip into flip-flops!” said Griffin, in another interview with US Weekly.
