Age 9 Girl Breaks Down After Opening Cupcake Box From Mom And Dad

Learning there’s going to be an extra member of the family is an emotional experience at any age.

And this little girl’s reaction to hearing she’s going to be a sister sees her going from happy, to sad and back again as she’s overwhelmed by the news.

Her parents presented her with a cupcake in a box with a special message written on it.

They film her reaction as she looks into the box, smiles broadly and shouts:’Are you going to have a baby?’

However, despite her mother responding, the girl is reluctant to believe her.

The little girl says, ‘No you’re not,’ and her mother quickly responds and says: ‘Yes I am.’

The young girl looks very emotional as she tries to take in the news and she then says, ‘No you’re not,’ while her dad shouts: ‘You’re going to be a sister.’

The father reminds his daughter he once overheard her telling her mother she would ‘never be a sister’ and he adds: ‘Now you are.’

The girl then bursts into tears and lifts her cupcake box up to her eyes while her mother says: ‘It’s a good thing baby. It’s a happy thing. Are you not happy?’

The girl then nods her head and eats a bit of her cupcake which seems to make her a lot happier.

Her parents then ask to see the message on her cupcake but she has already eaten part of it.
