Baby Otter Sleeps On Mom’s Floating Belly

Newborn babies are well known for sleeping on their mother’s chest for many comforting reasons and it is one of the cutest, love filled image even. The serenity of baby sleeping on mom is not exclusive to humans, but it is just as cute. Photographer Connie Levenhagen captured the amazing footage of this one day old baby otter peacefully sleeping on his mother’s belly. The two were floating in a pool outside the Monterey Bay Aquarium, in California. Although the mother is a wild otter she was sensible enough to birth her baby in a safe environment aways from other wild animals and harsh weather conditions.
