Hot cocoa is one of the most common hot beverages people of all ages enjoy.

I am one of the cocoa lovers and always used to settle for the ready made powder mixtures, until I traveled to Italy and indulged myself in a real hot cocoa – sweet, thick, delicious and ever so comforting.

I couldn’t help myself but try to find out the secret – they use real melted chocolate.

Out of excitement and desperation to achieve the great taste of my italian hot cocoa I have tried numerous times to make myself a cup, but being honest it is not very convenient considering how time consuming and messy it could be (the taste makes it worth it, but not an every day quick option).
