Bride Recites Emotional Wedding Vows To Her New Step-Son And His Mother

On her wedding day, Katie Musser, 24, recited her very emotional vows not just to her husband to be, Jeremy,  but to her step-son and his mother also. She said that it is important to her to make everyone feel included as they are one big family.

“For a long time, I struggled with people asking me why I get along with her or why I would do that to myself,” Musser told InsideEdition.com. “Regardless of whether people accepted it, I needed to let people know how much they mean to us.”

In the touching vide0, Musser turns to thank her stepson’s mother, Casey Bender and his stepfather, Tyler.

“First I want to thank you for accepting me as your friend and allowing me to be a part of Landon’s life,” Muller said to Casey during her September wedding. “I promise to be an amazing mother to your son. I will guide, teach and love him every single day.”

She then turns to her stepson Landon, 4, and tells him how much she loves him. Her gesture evokes a lot of emotions amongst the guests.   “No one knew that it was happening, not even Jeremy. Casey cried the entire time. It hit her hard,” Musser said.

The video has already been seen over half-million times she shared it on facebook and Katie is hopeful that she will inspire other families in similar situations to accept and be tolerant of each other.
