Dad Scared Of Heights Determined To Take In View Off Cliff

A crippling fear of heights is one of the most common fears that human beings have. In fact, one could say that it’s even part of our DNA to be afraid of thousand-foot drops. Mother nature made us fear great heights so we wouldn’t casually saunter over to the edge of a cliff and accidentally meet an unfortunate end. These kind of endings aren’t good, since it means we won’t be around to propagate the human species. And as you know, mother nature is all about making sure the world is filled with lots of living things!

One father had already successfully contributed to the human species by having a family of his own. That meant he could take a chance and try to beat his fear of heights! The perfect opportunity presented itself on a family trip to Ireland. The family visited a popular tourist attraction, Dún Aonghasa, which is a prehistoric hill fort. It’s situated near some very picturesque cliffs that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. Loads of people can seen be walking right up to the edge to get a glimpse of what lies below. But, this scaredy-cat dad was frozen in place, and couldn’t put one foot in front of the other.

There was no way he was about to go home without seeing the view. So, he did the next best thing and got on all fours. He almost looked like a baby seal, awkwardly flopping his way towards the precipice. His family can be heard edging him on in the background with uber-cheeky comments. This is too funny!
