Incredibly Rare Twins Elephants Born For The First Time In A Decade Are Melting Hearts

Elephant twins are very rare and form less than one per cent of all elephant births. The lucky mom, is 31 years old Curve. Her twins are the first born in a dace in South African game reserve. The calves are healthy and surrounded by other baby elephants. It is believed that the father was, Ingani, a 44-year-old elephant, who passed away a year before the babies were born (around half way through pregnancy).
