Like a Pup, a Beast of a Sea Lion Patiently Waits for Scraps at Fish Market!

A giant sea lion enters a fish market… sounds like a lame joke, right? Well, it was a reality for a couple of fishermen who were working at a fish market. They were separating the catch of the day and a massive South American sea lion showed up for some treats!

Not only was this an incredible sight to see – a giant beast up close with huge whiskers, an overly-solid “build” and a friendly face, but it was particularly fascinating at how the fish-loving fella conducted himself. It was as if he was a patient pup waiting for his owner to give him scraps from the dinner table!

The friendly beast was so well-mannered even though he could very well overpower the fishermen and wipe out their entire supply! The fishermen seem unfazed with his visit and it’s business as usual, possibly because he’s a frequent visitor? Whatever it may be, they don’t leave out the hungry fella and throw him a couple of fish.

Clearly, this big boy isn’t famished by the look of his “belly.” While he seems to do quite well for himself on the food front, nevertheless, you can tell he appreciates being served. He even waddles around with excitement with his massive flippers! Watch this amazing encounter and see how happy the beast of a sea lion is when he catches a fish. It’s really the cutest thing!
