Man tells cab driver what he did to his wife’s mother – but the surprising truth makes me laugh out loud

Sometimes you tell an innocent white lie, but as time goes by the consequences of that lie get worse and worse – this is one such story.

A happily married couple were dressed and ready to go out for a New Year’s Eve party. They turned on a night light, covered their pet parakeet and put their cat in the backyard.

They called the local cab company and requested a taxi. The taxi arrived and they opened the front door to leave the house.

Suddenly, the cat that the man had put out in the backyard ran back in through the front door.

They didn’t want to leave the cat in the house, because she always tried to eat the poor bird. The wife went out to the taxi, while the man went inside to get the cat.

The cat ran upstairs to find the bird, with the husband in hot pursuit.

Waiting in the cab, the wife didn’t want the driver to know that the house would be empty for the night. So, she explained to the taxi driver that her husband would be out soon, “He’s just going upstairs to say goodbye to my mother.”

A few minutes later, the man got into the cab.

“Sorry I took so long,” the man said as they drove away. “That stupid b**ch was hiding under the bed. I had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out!”

He continued, “She tried to take off, so I grabbed her by the neck. Then, I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked! She’s fat, but I still managed to haul her downstairs and throw her out into the back yard!”

The cab driver hit a parked car.
