Rescued Lion Has An Unusual Obsession With Soft Blankets

Lambert is an African lion who is obsessed with soft blankets, and has been so since a baby cub age.

When he was 3 months-old a father bought him illegally as a present for his young children who loved ‘Lion King’ and wanted their own Simba.

The family kept him for a very short period of time before giving him away.

Due to his nature being completely messed with he acted more like a pet than a wild animal, hence the rescuers could not just release him.

He found his forever home with the Texas’ In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Educational Center.

Lambert had to learn how to eat raw meat as well as other vital for his survival skills, but there was something he could not let go of – His unusual obsession with soft blankets.
