The Moving Moment When The Dog Who Survived A Deadly Car Accident Was Reunited With The Grieving Family

McKenzie Catron died in a car crash in Dothan, Alabama while on spring break. Her dog Kai managed to survive the accident and ran away from the scene. Sergeant Jonathon Whaley was the first officer at the scene and he strongly felt that the least he could do for the grieving family is to find the lost dog. Soon the community joined forces in the mission ‘Help find Kai’ and thanks to the loving effort Kai was safely captured. She was taken straight to the vet for reassurance and then reunited with her family. The moment she saw McKenzie’s boyfriend brought me to tears.
