In 2014, James and Annie Hart founded a dog rescue, which they called Rescue from the Hart. Located in Los Angeles, the couple has dedicated their lives to saving and helping animals. The pair takes in abused and neglected animals from the streets and local shelters, and tries to find them their forever homes.

Neighbors brought her food and water, but she was protective of her space and didn’t want to be approached. So someone who had seen the dog called Rescue from the Hart, who went to the scene to find that Bailey was not truly alone. She was pregnant!
