6-Year-Old Boy Who Can’t Speak Finds An Unlikely Friend In A Deaf Boxer

January 4, 2017 marks the date the internet got to know 6-year-old Connor Guillet through this video. This boy is unable to speak, but has quickly learned to use sign language as a primary means of communication.

Connor’s mom decided to introduce her son to somebody who could understand him on a deeper level. One fated evening, Brandi went to an event featuring boxer dogs that were up for adoption. That’s where she met Ellie, a three-year-old dog who happened to be deaf. What was even more interesting was the fact that Ellie understood sign language.

Brandi brought Ellie home, and the two got along better than the mother had hoped.

All this connection happened without the pair even having to say a word to each other.
