Tristan McIntosh is a very talented young singer who is about to get a lot more than a ticket to Hollywood. After performing a beautiful rendition of “Why, Baby, Why?” as part of her audition for american idol, she received the biggest surprise she could have wished for – her military mom is back after being deployed in the middle east. The very emotional reunion made the show even better than usual. We often take our army servants for granted and do not realise the huge sacrifice they make for our countries, hence why I like to see all the touching reunions and remind myself that they are real people out there, fighting for us, risking not just their own lives but affecting their very real families too.
