Drew and Gina’s big day had finally arrived. Guests were seated, cocktails had been served, and the gorgeous vintage wedding was about to commence. But as it turned out, the bride and groom’s parents were the ones heading for the alter instead.

Watching Gina walk down the impeccable rose-filled aisle, Father Jim Husek began his well-rehearsed matrimonial sermon.

Standing with the newlyweds-to-be, the pastor reminded attendants of the value and rarity of true, unconditional love..

Celebrating 34 amazing years together, Drew’s parents understood that fact all too well. Surprisingly enough, so did Gina’s! That day marked their 38th year as husband and wife.

Father Jim then went on to congratulate the married couples for a job well done as role models ‘in love.’ Clearly, their example had inspired their children! Then, something truly unexpected happened.

“If you don’t mind standing a bit to the side,” Father Jim asked kindly of the Gina and Drew, “This is going to be for the parents.”

Just like that, the bride and groom made way for both pairs of moms and dads. As it turned out, the couple planned the entire surprise in celebration of their parents’ passion and determination in marriage.

As you might have guessed, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight during the beautiful moment.
