Baby Home Alone With Dad, But He Won’t Stop Crying Until He Smells Mom’s Shirt

Most new parents have experienced how rough it is for their infants to deal with parting with their parents for any amount of time, whether it’s a moment to go to the bathroom, or a long day at work. When this baby boy’s mom left to run a few errands, the 3-month old was completely distraught…

The sweet little guy kept on crying and screaming in hopes that his mom would instantly come back and tend to his sadness. Unfortunately for his dad, this meant that he would be crying for a while.

When he saw that his tantrum was going to continue until he figured something out, the dad decided to try a unique solution.

In the footage below from March of this year, the poor baby, wearing adorable pajamas, appears absolutely heartbroken as he keeps crying for his mom.

Dad then hit record on his camera and began filming, sure of the reaction his son would have to what he was about to do next.

As the baby’s crying continues, his smart dad grabs an old shirt from his wife’s stuff, and brights it to the teary-eyed little boy. His son begins to sniff around, and within seconds, the screaming cries softens into a gentle mumble. You could just see the baby one’s face drop from his previously pained expression, to almost angelic and calm.

He relaxes the moment he sniffed his mom’s scent off of the t-shirt, and immediately relaxes. A moment later, his mouth morphs into the biggest smile!
