Baseball Star Donates $10 Million Mansion, His Extreme Generosity Is Changing Kids’ Lives

Texas Rangers pitcher Cole Hamels, a major league baseball star, and his wife Heidi, recently donated a $10 million  mantion and more than 100 acres of land with it to Camp Barnabas.

Camp Barnabas is a christan organisation who helps kids with medical, physical and/or developmental disabilities, and their families change their lives for the better. Over the past 24 years, they have welcomed and supported over 75, 000 campers and missionairies.

Camp Barnabas offers a truly unique and invaluable experience for special needs kids, as the pitcher wrote in a statement, via ESPN:

“Seeing the faces, hearing the laughter, reading the stories of the kids they serve; there is truly nothing like it…. Barnabas makes dreams come true, and we felt called to help them in a big way.”
