Bill Paxton, star of Titanic, Twister, and many other hit ’90s films, has passed away at age 61.

The actor’s sudden passing on Saturday, February 25, 2017, is being reported by TMZ as a complication from surgery. The surgery has yet to be disclosed.

His family released a statement: “It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Bill Paxton has passed away due to complications from surgery. Bill’s passion for the arts was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth and tireless energy were undeniable.”
