Boy with Down Syndrome Belts Out Whitney Houston Song and Everyone Is in Awe!

When 9-year-old Dane Miller, who has Down Syndrome began to sing Whitney Houston’s classic hit, “I Have Nothing” in the car, he had plenty to share with the world. His “performance” back in 2017, which went viral, must have had the late Grammy Award-winning icon smiling down on him from heaven above. Houston would have been so proud of this little vocal powerhouse!
A huge fan of Houston’s, the adorable boy belted out and hit every note with such gusto! His dad secretly recorded the performance during a road trip. You could tell that Miller poured his heart out through his mannerisms, which evoked more passion and drama. Miller’s adorable sing-along was one of the most precious moments to witness online.
The ‘Houston fever’ began when Miller was first exposed to Houston’s life story. “We did just watch a documentary on [Houston] about a month ago, and so he started downloading her songs and that was the one he got stuck on,” his mom, Danna Miller told CBS.
Fans of Miller’s touching performance shared encouraging words online, which got his mom all choked up. “Just reading the comments, they’re so sweet. I’m getting emotional,” she added. Miller, not holding back and singing his heart out has inspired many other families with children who have Down syndrome. “Some other families who have Down Syndrome children have posted pictures with their kids,” she said.
