The big debate on whether it is ok or not to breastfeed in public, regardless of whether the mother is covered or not has been going around for a while. As a mother myself who was pressurised into breastfeeding and felt embarrassed to pull out a bottle once my daughter weaned herself off, I am a strong defendant of women’s right to breastfeed whenever and wherever needed. People who are so opposed should mind their own business and simply not look, if they find the view to be so disturbing. A woman in a tank top or strapless dress is considered norm but mother’s shoulder is a no go – double standard hypocrites! This young boy is about to put one of them in their place and I am proud of him.
