It was a snowy day in 2007 when Janna and Clifton first met! Janna was struggling to shovel her driveway, and Clifton pulled over to ask if he could help!
From that day forward, the two were inseparable – and even Janna’s adorable little girl, Jadya was thrilled to spend time with her mom’s new boyfriend.

Jayda asked if she could call Clifton “Daddy” in 2013 and he said yes in a heartbeat! The three were unbelievably close – even during the tough times.
When Jayda’s biological father passed away in 2016, Clifton was right beside her to ease the pain and make sure the family stayed whole. He even took Jayda for a weekend away and to a jewelry shop as a way to get her mind off of things!
It was his sense of calm and support that made Jayda comfortable with her mother’s boyfriend, and made Janna thrilled she allowed the kind man into their lives.

So when Clifton purposed to Janna, they were all over the moon. The day of the wedding rolled around and Janna had no idea about the plan Clifton secretly set up!
Before their own heartfelt vows, Clifton asked Janna to step aside so he could speak to his soon-to-be stepdaughter. The moment caught Janna by surprise and resulted in one of the most heartwarming wedding moments ever.
