Trish and Steve met in high school. He was a senior and she was a freshman. The first time Trish saw Steve, she got a strange feeling that one day she would marry him. But Steve went off to college, Trish became a Clemson cheerleader, and the two grew apart. Nine years later, as fate would have it, they met again and started dating. It were as if no time had passed. During their courtship, Steve introduced Trish to his daughter, Ella.

When it came time to plan their wedding, Trish and Steve chose the gorgeous Chateau Selah, nestled in the hills of eastern Tennessee. The couple paid close attention to every single detail, but right in the center of all the excitement and planning was little Ella.

Trish and Steve made sure Ella, now 5 years old, felt very much a part of the wedding. In fact, Ella kept her special wedding day dress a secret from her dad; Trish wanted Steve’s breath to be taken away by both of his girls.

The bride and groom also wrote their own vows, but to top everything off, Trish wrote special vows to Ella that she read to her during the ceremony, which you’ll see below — and you’ll need a box of tissues close as you watch.
