A little boy named Mason has been best friends with a chicken, Love Bird, ever since she was just a little baby chick. Mason’s family adopted Love Bird when she hatched during Mason’s nursery school class project. After spending so much time with his little friend, the two are practically inseparable.

Mason recently got a haircut, and his family was curious whether or not his best friend would still recognize him. I’m so thankful that Mom captured this precious moment on camera. Watch as Mason asks Love Bird for a hug. These two have a sweet and wonderful friendship.
