Cops Accidentally Enter Wrong House, But 1 Look At Tree Reveals Unforgettable Sight

During the holidays, two Michigan officers responding to a call ended up mistakenly going to the wrong address. But it ended up being the right address after all, because of what the police officers found behind the closed front door.
They were never supposed to enter this house but walked into it by accident. It’s a good thing they did… The homeowner let the officers into her home after the mishap was cleared up. She then showed them her Christmas tree, which left the officers in awe…
This wasn’t your ordinary tree. The homeowner had dedicated one blue ornament to each officer killed in the line of duty for that year, including K9 officers. She even labeled each ornament with their names. The anonymous officer who shared pictures of the tree was floored.
“She calls it the ‘Tree of Honor.’ Guess our paths were meant to cross, since she just finished it last night. What a wonderful tribute.”
Others have created beautiful trees in honor of fallen officers, such as this tree displayed at the Festival of Trees in Des Moines, Iowa. Businesses, groups and families decorate a tree in a particular theme for this event benefiting a local children’s hospital – and this tree was done in memory of five fallen officers killed in Iowa in 2016. The tree skirt featured their names and badge numbers.
Some of the trees have been created for the public’s viewing, while other beautiful displays are simply left in people’s homes to honor someone they knew and loved. Either way, the tribute is touching, even breathtaking. How have you celebrated the lives of loved ones lost in the line of duty?
