Dad Says “Hello” To His 12-Week-Old Baby And Is Sunned When His Adorable Son Says It Back

As a mom, I was always told that “early talkers are late walkers” and vice versa. Both of my kids are very active and learned to crawl and walk before they hit the 9-month mark, and accidentally or not they proved the old saying to be true and turned out to be late talkers.

There is a lot of debate over how early is early and how late is late, but everyone would agree that at the impressive age of 12-weeks-old babies are too young and not expected to talk or walk.

I am sure, Tom and Laura Webster would have agreed, yet they were about to experience the biggest surprise of their lives.

Tom and Laura were lying in bed with their 12-week-old son Jenson, when unexpectedly he said his first word, hello.

As Tom repeated the word “hello” aloud to his young son, the jubilant baby giggled and mumbled, until eventually, he said hello back to his dad.

“It was an amazing moment,” Tom told the Daily Mail. “We couldn’t believe what we were hearing.”

“It was the first time he had said something with two syllables,” said Laura. “It was a moment to treasure and I was delighted I got it on film.”
