Dog Looks After Abandoned Baby Opossums And Carries Them On Her Back

Stephanie Maldonado found the abandoned baby opossums after their mother was killed by a dog and wanted to rescue them. They were really small and couldn’t even open their eyes, but just before she lost all hope for them. Fortunately, her dog Pretinha, stepped in and took care of the four joeys. She nursed them, licked them, and carried them on her back. They are thriving and thanks to Pretinha are in safe hands. Watch Pretinha take the opossums for a walk in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
