Ellen had a special surprise in store for a military wife, one that she was not expecting.

Mary is in the audience when her husband, Chris Banford, calls up Ellen Degeneres on the phone and tells her (and the audience) he missed his 10th year wedding anniversary with Mary because he is training with the Army National Guard.
