It is common for customers to call for the manager when there is an issue. It is expected for the managers to have good communication and customer service skills and be able to resolve the issue in professional manner. Unfortunately, this is not always case, and sadly, the increasing number of rude and unhelpful managers, who are power driven and arrogant, is a bit alarming, especially when it comes to more ‘vulnerable’ customers, such as the elderly.
