Five Foster Siblings To Be Split Up, Then This Couple Step In And Defies The Odds

Brenda and Curt Heuer of Prescott, Arizona are no strangers to opening up their homes to children. Over the years, the couple has served as foster parents for a whopping 52 children. As Fox 8 reports, they recently decided to make things a little more permanent in the parenting department.
The couple has adopted a set of five siblings that they have been caring for since 2015. The children range in ages from two to nine, and the couple knew how important it was to keep them together.
“They call us mom and dad. We’re such a family, we go camping together, and we’re going to take them to Disneyland for their adoption celebration,” Brenda said.
It’s quite a responsibility to take on the care of five children all at once, but Brenda sounds like she’s more than up to the task.
“It’s our job as parents to teach our kids right from wrong and how to be good citizens! Everything feels right,” she continued.
No word on whether or not the couple will continue serving as foster parents for other children, but it certainly sounds like they’ve done more than their fair share in providing a home for children in need.
