Freezing Child – New Social Experiment

Watch this social experiment of a “homeless, freezing child in New York” and the lack of compassion and empathy  demonstrated by the people passing by. Have we become so cynical and suspicious we are willing to overlook real problems, or is it selfishness – as long as it doesn’t affect me personally it is not my problem. I cried trough the whole video thinking “How do these people sleep at night knowing they just left a child to freeze and potentially die”. Please share your thoughts and clarify for me – Has our society become cold, selfish and desensitised, or am I not seeing the bigger picture?
