Gospel Choir Serenades Passengers

This is the uplifting moment passengers on board a transatlantic flight were treated to an impromptu performance by a university choir.
Members of the Virginia State University gospel chorale broke into song on board an eight-hour KLM flight from Amsterdam to Washington, DC, on New Year’s Eve.
They sang ‘Oh Happy Day’ for fellow passengers as the plane prepared to land at Dulles International Airport.
The scene was captured on video by a member of the choir, which was flying home after staging a European tour over the holidays.
The group performed for audiences and visited tourist sites in Italy, Hungary and Romania along the way.
Footage shows passengers swaying in their seats as the group performs on the plane.
At one point in the three-minute clip, a flight attendant pulls out her camera and begins to snap photos or record video.
The singers were treated to a round of the applause once they wrapped up the song.
