Groom Jumps Up To Save A Wedding Guest Choking

Cody and Kelly got married back in September of 2015. Cody, who works as a firefighter, was probably grateful to have a day off from such an intense job and wanted to enjoy every moment with his new bride.

But, duty can sometimes call at the most surprising moments, and Cody was called into action right in the middle of his and Kelly’s wedding reception!

Cody’s mom started screaming that one of the guests was choking, and the firefighter responded with alarming speed. He leaped from his chair and ran over to perform the Heimlich maneuver.

Incredibly, just moments before this event happened, one of the other guests had said to Cody, “If I’m ever in a position where I need a fireman to help me, I hope it’s you or I hope it’s someone like you.”

Cody surely saved the guest’s life, just like he saves lives every single day. People like him deserve all of our respect and admiration.
