Peggy Harris,  from Vernon, Texas, married her husband Billie back in the 1940s. Shortly after, Billie was deployed by the United States to fight in World War II. Six weeks post wedding, Lt. Billie Harris left for a Nazi-occupied Norther France on July 17, 1944, and Peggie never heard from her husband again.

For 68 years Peggy did not know the status of her husband. There was a constant confusion between him being dead or missing. Desperate to find out the truth, Peggy and her cousin, Alton Harvey, took matters into their own hands. Sixty-eight years after his disappearance, Peggy finally discovered what has happened to him.
