Back in 1977, 3 months old Amanda Scarpinati, fell from a couch onto a hot steam humidifier. She had third degree burns and was hospitalised at the Albany Medical Center in New York. During her hospital stay, she was in a care of an amazing nurse who looked after her and comfort her in her darkest hour. The two had a black and white picture taken and it was this same picture that gave Amanda hope, to one day meet her nurse, and express all her gratitude.
