Keisha, a first-time Grammy nominee dedicated her performance #MeTooto movement and showed her support for the victims of sexual assault as she sang “Praying” on the Grammy stage. To supercharge the tribute she had invited star vocals, all dressed in white to join voices together.

Camila Cabello, Cyndi Lauper, Julia Michaels, Bebe Rexha and Andra Day joined Kesha to sing her moving song. Starting with a breathtaking acapella and finishing with tears and hugs their performance touched everyone who can relate.

Keisha has expressed her public support for the movement and claims that she had been had sexually, verbally and emotionally abused by her former producer Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald and his Sony imprint Kemosabe. After years locked in a legal battle, a New York judge denied a court injunction that would have allowed her to record new music away from Kemosabe and Sony. Kesha still signed to the label, released her first album in five years, Rainbow, last August.

This is one of the most empowering performances we’ve heard in awhile, and there is no surprise it brought up strong emotions in thousands of people.
