Kind Cashier Lets Boy With Cerebral Palsy Scan His Own Groceries And It Totally Made His Day

Sometimes, the smallest acts can make someone’s day just that much better. For many people, sometimes all it takes is a smile or a nice word or two to make their day. For one young boy, he found joy in something most people don’t bother thinking about….
This kind cashier saw the excitement in the eyes of a young boy with cerebral palsy when she scanned each grocery item, so she decided to let him have a go at it. Sounds simple right? To him, it meant the world! You can just see the happiness in his face.
Jeanie Robinson took her son, Andy, grocery shopping.
Andy suffers from cerebral palsy, and to him, a trip to the store is absolutely exciting.
He just couldn’t contain himself!
When it came time to go through the checkout, the cashier offered to let him scan the items himself.
He loved it! After Andy got back home, he was still beaming and described to his siblings the amazing day he had.
The family had recently moved to a new home, so the day’s events made Jeanie feel as if her family was being truly accepted in their new community.
