The Carolina Waterfowl Rescue, based in Indian Trail, North Carolina, is a well known birth shelter, and the only one to take in rescued farm animals. Patches was the first and only lamb on the premises. When he first arrived, he was only two months old and had major digestive problems. He was taken to the vet and given a lot of loving care. He quickly recovered and got attached to his new caretakers, but he always seemed very lonely. The rescue team posted an ad on their Facebook page looking for a friend for Patches. Thanks to the Triangle Chance for All farm animal sanctuary who got in touch regarding to goats who need a forever home. The goats were a mother and 4 month old son known as Little Joe. California Waterfowl Rescue did not hesitate to take them in and Patches finally found the only thing he was missing – a real friend. Watch them hopping and trotting about in the most joyful way possible.
