Mom Unpacks Her 30-Year-Old Wedding Dress, Then Realizes It Isn’t Hers At All!

She was excited to pull the dress out of storage for the very first time in thirty years, when something just didn’t feel right. She realized that the dress in the box wasn’t hers at all! This all happened back in 2012, and she then spent several long years wondering whose dress she had in her possession.

“I was shocked and sad and wondered whose dress I had,”

Early this year, Kim Jones stumbled upon the exact same realization. She also decided to take her wedding dress out of storage, and was shocked to find that it wasn’t the same dress she wore to her wedding three decades ago.

Apparently, both women went to the same cleaners. Since the dresses were both ivory and beaded, they must have gotten confused and switched. Luckily, the women somehow managed to track one another via Facebook.

Soon after, Kim took a trip over to Atlanta, and they finally got their wedding gowns back!

To make this story even crazier: both women grew up within the exact same neighborhood, attended high school together, and had been married in the same month! Talk about coincidence!

Clearly it was fated that these women mean, because their lives were almost exactly the same! Even so, how insane is it that the women thought to take out their dresses not so long after each other, and make it a point to find one another?
