One Decision Vehicular Heatstroke Awareness

On one sunny afternoon, I and my Mom decided to go for a shopping. After my mom got me whatever I wanted as a kid, she decided to stop by a store to purchase necessary grocery items and baby food for me. She thought she would be really quick and will be back in minutes. Little did she know that her this decision could become her worst nightmare.

I waited for my Mom to come back and rush home. Few minutes after, I started feeling really hot. I was sweating badly. I still had patience. There came a woman who made sure she was looking fine in my car’s glass. She passed on a smile and bid me goodbye. When I couldn’t bear the heat, I started crying. There came another woman, who tried to pull me out. But when she saw there was no way to do so, she left me in the car itself.

The temperature within the car had reached 104 degree Fahrenheit by then. A passer-by noticed me motionless. He just banged into the glass to pull me out. My Mom had come by then. But then it was too late…

So this is for all the parents reading this, please please please don’t leave your child inside the car because you never know if you’re struck in long queues, meet an old friend, hunt things you want- delaying is fatal.
