The great journey to motherhood, surely everyone have a certain set of expectations based on believes/experiences/media etc, but in reality nothing can prepare you for the big life changes that come with it. Reading this article I though to myself “I wish someone had told me all of this before I had my daughter a year ago”. My old self had – (missed dearly) had no idea how much of an impact my new life as a mother will have on me, and whether knowing all of this would have changed my decision on having kids at the time I do not know. However, having met the most precious person in my life – my little baby girl, I now know I would not change a thing and would continue to embrace the roller-coaster journey of motherhood.
