Sokka is an 8 year-old Labrador Retriever. She was rushed to Baltimore shelter’s vet clinic with a swollen belly and refusing to eat. She needed an emergency surgery, even though chances were she won’t survive, the veterinary staff knew she will definitely die without it. He uterus was badly infected and about to rupture. The uterus was removed and she survived the surgery. Her condition is improving and hopeful will soon be moved to a special foster family. Meanwhile, Sokka has BARCS veterinary technician Dennis M. to comfort her in the most heartwarming way ever.
