Musharaf, nick name Mushy addressed his fellow classmates during an end of year speech. He placed a pair of earphones over his head and his confidence grew. Everyone was in shock.
Mushy had been bullied for being an immigrant and for having stammer since year 7 (that’s the 5th grade in the US), and his attendance for school dropped to about 34%. His teacher, Matthew Burton, help him work through this problem. It was only after watching The King’s Speech that Burton was inspired and wanted to try the use of music as a way to distract Mushy’s busy and insecure mind in order to calm his speech impediment. It worked. Mushy had a chance to address his class, he stunned them.
