Everyone has heard of Koko the Gorilla, whether for her intelligence and the ability to communicate with humans or her well documented and incredibly strong maternal instincts. Having never been a mom of a gorilla baby, she’s been raising kittens for years.

For her birthday she was given quite a birthday present, not one or two, but a whole box of kittens abandoned by their real mom. Maybe it’s just me but seeing how gentle this big ape handled these tiny balls of fluff blew me away. If you’re an animal lover you gotta be moved by this video. Unbelievable.
