The Shelter Buddies Reading Program is a very innovative idea to bring children and shelter animals together.The impact it has made at the Humane Society of Missouri is absolutely incredible. The animals develop close relations with humans and are getting prepped for adoption day. This kids who not only get to practice their reading skills and enjoy animal’s company, also have the change to develop better sense of humanity, empathy and caring. This project is absolutely beautiful.
