He created the next-best thing to a father-daughter dance. Shannon and Don fell deeply in in love. In Don and his two young sons, Shannon discovered a new family. Eventually, they got engaged, and Shannon couldn’t wait for her father to walk her down the aisle and do the father-daughter dance- one of the most important wedding day moments.

Not long before the wedding, Shannon’s father was diagnosed with cancer, ultimately passing away before her big day. She was absolutely heartbroken.

On the day of her wedding, her new husband Don revealed a secret he had been working on for weeks.

The caring groom organized a way to create the father-daughter dance Shannon always wanted. The first half of the video shows Don’s first surprise: an awesome choreographed dance routine with his two sons. Then, at around 3:08 in the video, something else happens that brings everyone to tears.

The music suddenly changes and Don’s tribute to Shannon’s father was revealed. His t-shirt reads “Will you dance with me?” on the back, but when the groom turns around, there’s a picture of Shannon’s father on the front!
