Three Year Old Stands On Toilet For A Very Scary Reason

Stacey took to Facebook to tell the story of her daughter. Her daughter had been taught in school that when a lock-down occurs, all children must rush to the bathrooms and stand on the toilets to prevent being sighted by a possible attacker. This happened in the aftermath of the shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando. The photo instantly gained traction on the internet and was shared over 10,000 times.
The reason for its immediate spread is that it is instances like this one that remind us that the events of the outside world can sometimes scare our innocent little children as well, and that they too have to process and live with fear like all of us. The debate about gun control was very hotly contested in the comments section. One user said “It is truly sad we live in a dangerous world. I remember as a 3rd grader trying to pull a gas mask over my hair. Those rubber straps were terrible at pulling at the hair. The drills of going down to the basement and knowing where the fallout shelter was. Each generation learns about fear in their own way.”
Another user chimed in “I think I can certainly buy a gun in the state since i have good background. But if I have some mental issues then i can do some harms to other people at school, campus, workplace or even at malls. Don’t you guys ever know my intentions? Do u know what will happen tomorrow when someone with imbalance mental issues will do with the gun?”
The mother of the little girl was no doubt shaken when she heard her daughter explain what she was doing. Now, Stacey is holding the politicians accountable when it comes to regulations placed on guns “I want them to know that this is my child… and future generations to come,” she told a media outlet. “This is the society they’re growing up in and as politicians, they single-handedly have a hand in shaping and building that society. I can’t imagine that they’re okay with this picture.”
