When They Scanned This Dog’s Microchip, They Discovered Something Horrifying

This dog at the shelter had a microchip and so the volunteers decided to scan it, but as soon as they did they realized that this dog belonged to a research lab. This dog, called Nate was then placed in a foster home by the Beagle Freedom Project together with the Seal Beach Animal Care Center until he was finally adopted. It was in August 2015 that the Beagle Freedom Project received a call about a homeless dog in need of his forever loving home.

The Seal Beach Animal Care Center found the stray Nate, a pure bred husky and upon scanning they realized that he belonged to a lab which was known for it’s horrific animal testing. No one’s aware of the kinds of tests this poor dog has gone through, but whatever it was, that part of his life, a nightmare, is finally over.
