Woman Notices Tiny Girl On Side Of The Road, Then She Points Down The Ridge

Five-year-old Lexi is what most people would call a hero. After an accident, Lexi mustered the strength to not only escape, but to also save the lives of her mother and baby brother! Her heroic actions were recently recognized with a Canadian Bronze Medal for Bravery.

It all began when Lexi, her mother Angela and her 10-week-old brother Peter were driving together in their minivan. While listening to lullabies to calm Peter, Angela accidentally dozed off and their van careened off the side of a steep embankment and went directly into a tree. Peter and Angela were in serious condition, but Lexi was able to free herself from the twisted pile of metal and scramble up the side of the mountain, eventually flagging down another car on the road for help!

Paramedics were called to the scene where they found baby Peter and Angela.Thanks to Lexi’s quick thinking, they are all happy to be alive and healing. Learn more about her brave actions in the incredible video below!
