During Tornado Warning, Students Sheltered In Hallway Start Singing ‘Mary, Did You Know?’

As tornadoes and severe storms rolled through the Atlanta area Wednesday, students and staff at nearby Bremen High School took shelter while waiting for the severe weather to pass.

Then something pretty cool happened while the teenagers sat facing each other in the hallway — they started to sing “Mary, Did You Know?”

Turns out the students have been practicing “Mary, Did You Know?” for their upcoming Christmas program, WSB-TV reported, and decided that firing up a rendition during a tornado wasn’t a half bad idea.
