Father Catches Sweet Moment Of Love In Sonic Parking Lot

Marriage means many things: sharing memories, laughter, love and growing old together, to name a few. Unfortunately, nowadays the tradition of marriage isn’t always the expectation of times gone past..

That’s why one father and husband was so shocked by what he saw in the Sonic parking lot near his home.

After a fun day at the pool with his little ones, Brent Kelley decided to stop by Sonic for an ice cream treat. The family placed their order and waited patiently in the car for the yummy ice cream to be delivered.

Minutes later, a rollerskate-strapped teen rolled over to drop off their treats – and that’s when Brent noticed something strange in the car next to his.

In an emotional Facebook post, Brent shared what happened in the Sonic parking lot.

“So today, I took the kids to the pool and we stopped for ice cream on the way home.”

“When I got my ice cream and pulled out, I realized that this elderly man beside me was sitting outside his car door, spoon feeding his wife ice cream who also looked in her late eighties.

He draped a towel over her and slowly fed his bride in the 98 degree temperature. It was a beautiful display of love.”

This elderly couple was a shiny example of how marriage should be, and it’s clear others agree!
